KHANQAH OF PAROHI

Khanqah of Parohi is situated 8 Km. from Khairi Banka, in Bisfi Block, Madhubani district.It was established by Hazrat Abdullah Shah Sahib (Rah.). After the death of his Pir Hazrat Maulana Basharat Karim (Rah.) he came and settled at Mahdauli near Darbhanga.He and his Sufi friend Maulana Manzoor of Purohi  decided to go for Hajj. Maulana Manzoor in mistake wrote the address of Purohi on the luggage of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Sahib (Rah.). When they came back Hazrat decided to settle in Purohi instead of Mahdauli.


Hazrat Abdullah Shah Sahib (Rah.) made a very small hut situated in the south of the mosque in the village.The mosque was constructed in 1978 A.D before the arrival of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Sahib (Rah.)  


Hazrat Abdullah Shah Sahib (Rah.) died on 20 shawwal, 13 April, 1993A.D. His Mazar is made in the north of his Hujra. His mother is also buried near his Mazar.

    While he was lived in mahdoli at the house of jnb manza marhoom , munshi mehdi jaan parohi and jnb abdurrasheed usrahi were going to visit him , once they said him many times to come with them to thier home village, he accept and came to usrahi first then parohi and made it his home village.

    Hazrat Molana Basharat Kareem Sahab REHMATULLAH-A'LEH ke Ustaad Peer Sahab koun thhe.Jahan se KHILAFAT mili thhe . Oonka naam aur Dargah ka pata bata dijiye.
